Graveside services for William Joseph Lanham, Sr., age 77 of Ruston, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston under direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

William was born August 21, 1945 in Rome, MS and passed away August 23, 2022 in Ruston, LA.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved crawdading, riding four-wheelers and dancing in his wheelchair.  William really loved life.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Lanham; his father, Wayne Lanham, Sr.; a daughter, Susan Johnson and a brother, David Lanham.

William is survived by his children: William Lanham, Jr., Tammy Taylor and Tonya Rowland; grandchildren: Christopher Johnson, Kasey Johnson, Devin Lanham, Julian Lanham, Matthew Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Colten Rowland and Jacob Rowland; great-grandchildren: Emily Rucker and Jay Rucker; siblings: Juanita Lanham Clayborne, Wayne Lanham, Jr., Walter Lanham, Jeanie Lanham Lambert, Charles Lanham, Ray Lanham, Larry Lanham, John Baker and Paul Baker.

Serving as pallbearers will be Walter Lanham, Ray Lanham, Larry Lanham, Paul Baker, Joe Foster and Steve Lowery.  Honorary pallbearers are all the nurses, CNAs, social workers, chaplains and staff of Legacy Hospice.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at Owens Memorial Chapel.
