Funeral services for Wendy Dotson, age 60 of Dubach will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Walt Brown, Rev. J.L. Williams, Rev. Dwayne Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Wendy was born on August 22, 1960 in Bernice, LA and passed away on February 7, 2021 in Shreveport, LA. She enjoying cooking, camping, fishing and spending time in her garden working on her vegetables and flowers. Wendy also loved watching TV mysteries, playing with her dogs and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

Wendy was preceded in death by parents: John Griffith and wife Alice; brother: Ray Griffith; grandchild: Faith Dotson.

Wendy is survived by her husband of 40 years: Ivy "Shorty" Dotson of Dubach, LA; daughter: Angie "Sissy" and husband Allen Miller of Dubach, LA; five sons: Chris Dotson of Dubach, LA, John Griffith of Mobile, AL, Daniel Dotson and wife Jackie of Dubach, LA, Jimmy Dotson and wife Kellie of Dubach, LA, Curtis Dotson and wife Heather of Simsboro, LA; sister: Connie and husband Kenny Smith of Ruston, LA; two brothers: Shawn Griffith and wife Leigh Ann of Dubach, LA, Rush Griffith and wife Mary Ann of Dubach, LA; sixteen grandchildren: Grace, Tanner, Maci, Destiny, Fisher, Jaden, Garrett, Kaylee, Jack, Dacie, Addison, Kylie, Kassie, Leyton, Olivia, Grant, Annabell and five great grandchildren: Wyatt, Jayci, Birdie, Tyler and Oliver.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Dotson, John Griffith, Daniel Dotson, Jimmy Dotson, Curtis Dotson and Allen Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner Dotson, Garrett Dotson, Grant Dotson, Jack Dean, Leyton Miller and Wyatt Ovit.
