Funeral services for Tyler Dewayne Brazzel, age 20, of Dubach, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dubach, LA with Bro. Connie Smith and Bro. Walt Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
Tyler was born on November 6, 2000 in Ruston, LA to Joey Brazzel and Loretta Hastings. He passed away July 28, 2021 in Dubach, Louisiana. Tyler was a lover of the outdoors and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his spare time, Tyler loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his two little boys. Tyler had many talents and was a master mechanic and loved working on old trucks. Tyler is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frankie Joe "Pop" Brazzel and Patricia Foust Whitlow; maternal grandfather, Roy Hastings; little brother, Nathaniel Brazzel and uncle, Kenny Joe Brazzel.
Tyler is survived by his two sons, Nathaniel Brazzel and Opie Brazzel; fiance', Keleigh Mathis and daughter, Baylor Woolsey; mother, Loretta Hastings and JJ Colvin; father, Joey and Tiffany Brazzel; brothers: Daniel Colvin, Hunter Colvin, Braxton Colvin, Chase Colvin and Ashton Pilgreen; sisters: Emma Pilgreen, Ally Brooke Brazzel, Maci Brazzel and Clara Brazzel; grandparents: Roxey Huey and Willie Huey and Butch and Kitty Redlund and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Glen Bagwell, Glen Allen Bagwell, Jr., Devin Behan, Deany Herring, Daniel Colvin and Paul Roan. Honorary pallbearer will be his father, Joey Brazzel who will take the honor of carrying his child one final time.
