Funeral services for Mr. Thomas C. Colvin, age 86, of Dubach, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Reginald Colvin and Rev. Don Woodard officiating.  Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery in Dubach, LA, under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mr. Colvin was born November 2, 1932, in Hico, LA to Thomas and Georgia Mae Colvin.  He died in Ruston on Friday, August 9, 2019.  He was employed by the City of Ruston Power Company and also Louisiana Tech University Power Plant.  He was a longtime member of Salem United Methodist Church.   His hobbies include hunting and gardening.

He was preceded in death by:  wife, Annie Murial Colvin; brother, James Allen Colvin; sister, Margaret Ann Gryder; parents, Thomas Clyde and Georgia Mae Colvin.

Mr. Colvin is survived by:  sons, Roger Neil (Roxanne) Colvin of Springhill, Reginald (Joan) Colvin of Dubach and Rodney Colvin of Dubach.  He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be:  Rodney Colvin, Chris Colvin, Marty Cantrell, Darrell Richardson, Phillip Colvin, James Colvin, Marvin Shelton and Wayne Boyett.

Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Joe Reed, D.B. Gay, Jeff Pixley and Dale Brunett.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.
