Memorial services for Mrs. Teresa McNabb, age 60 of Choudrant, LA will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Longstraw Baptist Church in Choudrant with Rev. Larry Emory and Rev. Scott Douglas officiating.

Teresa was born January 12, 1961 in Powers Lake, ND to Lawrence William and Lois Mae Jerde Douglas and passed away on September 30, 2021 in Choudrant, LA.  Teresa enjoyed reading books, going to thrift shops and buying gifts for all the people she loved.  She was a generous, big hearted, kind and warm person. Teresa was a welcoming member of Longstraw Baptist Church where she organized the children's ministry.  Her faith was her top priority in life.    She held onto life until she was able to see all of her loving grandchildren. Teresa was all about her family; she loved her family and all of her grandchildren along with her friends and dogs. Teresa was preceded in death by her father, L.W. Douglas.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 31 years, Layne McNabb of Choudrant, LA; three daughters:  Nicole Freeman of Hot Springs, AR, Kristi McNabb of Dubach, LA and Rachel and husband, Michael Jones of Dubach, LA; two sons: Nathan McNabb and wife, Michelle of Choudrant, LA and  Jeremy McNabb and wife Martha of Laredo, TX; mother, Lois Douglas of Tuscola, IL; sister, Susan and husband, David Wiese of Lincoln, NE; brother, Scott Douglas and wife Melissa of Lebanon, IL; and thirteen grandchildren.
