Funeral services for Stan Tims, age 63, of Choudrant, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, Louisiana with Rev. Drew Spillers and Terry Cole officiating.  Burial will follow in Douglas Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Stan was born February 13, 1958 in Ruston, Louisiana and passed away July 26, 2021.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.  Stan enjoyed fishing, cooking, hunting and watching NASCAR.  He worked in the oil field.

Stan is preceded in death by his father, Roy Tims; sister, Linda Tims; brother, Kent Tims, and nephew, Chris Jarmon.   Stan is survived by his mother, Marie Tims; sisters: Roetta Jarmon of Choudrant, Louisiana, Brenda Frasier (Jeff) of Dubach, Louisiana and Gail Gibson (Ken) of Delhi, Louisiana; nephew, Justin Frasier; nieces:  Jennifer Johnson (Jamey) of Choudrant, Louisiana, Leslie Frasier of Ruston, Louisiana, Amy Kennimer (Kane) of Dubach, Louisiana and Brittany Gibson of Delhi, Louisiana;  great-nieces: Taylor Summerville of Alabama, Jordyn Johnson of Choudrant, Louisiana, Peyton Jarmon of  Missouri, and Evie Frasier of Ruston, Louisiana;  great-nephews: Zach Jarmon of  Texas, Luke Parker of Monroe, Louisiana, Will Regan of Ruston, Louisiana and Ryder Jarmon of Missouri.

Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Emory, Justin Frasier, Brian Tucker, Derek Smith, Dan Emory, Will Regan, Jake Kennedy and Robert Barham.
