Sherrie "Shoo Shoo" Renee Mills was born March 19, 1961 in Dallas, TX to Joyce Mixon and passed away on August 2, 2021 in Ruston, LA.  Sherrie was one of six children and spent her childhood in Texas. She was a loving and devoted wife of 37 years to Richard Guzman. Shoo was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. She was crazy in love with her four grandsons. Her animals were loved like they were her children. One of her biggest accomplishments and thing she was so proud of was her sobriety of seventeen years.  Shoo always spoke her mind and never held anything back. She was tough as nails  and hard headed at times but always had a soft heart! She was a ray of sunshine to many!

Shoo fought hard in her battle with cancer for eight months. She faced it head on and did everything she could to try to be here with her family. She would give anything to be here with her family.

Shoo was welcomed at the gates of Heaven by Joyce Mixon (mother),Jesse Guzman(father-in-law),  Bodie Mills(brother), Jerry Trammell (brother-in-law), Boomer(beloved pet), and so many more loved ones.

Shoo is survived by her husband, Richard Guzman; Children: Jennifer and her husband Dusty Abel, Tiffany and her fiancé Ryan Abel, and Ryan and his wife Emily Guzman; Four Grandsons: Bentley Abel, Silas Abel, Trent Guzman, And Wes Guzman; Mother-in-law, Nina Guzman; Siblings: Vicki Trammell, Slade Mills, and Cody Mills. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and "adopted children".
