Memorial visitation for Sarah Ballard, age 56 of Monroe, Louisiana will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday, April 18, 2022 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston, Louisiana.

Sarah was born September 14, 1965 in West Monroe, Louisiana to the union of Oscar Alva Ballard and Eileen Clara Parris Ballard and passed away on April 9, 2022 in Monroe, Louisiana.  She worked at the Ruston State School and was a professional dog breeder.  This included miniature dachshunds, toy chihuahuas, Japanese chin to name a few.   She would raise the puppies and got great enjoyment from that.  She liked spending time outdoors in her flower garden and watching the birds that enjoyed her flowers.  She liked to read, enjoyed cooking, and especially loved spending time with her children.  Sarah was preceded in death by her parents.

Sarah is survived by her son, Tristan Ballard of West Monroe, Louisiana; daughter, Rhiannon Ballard-Davis of Ruston, Louisiana; brother, Stephen Ballard and Okie of Plano, Texas.
