Funeral services for Mrs. Sally Mae Myhre Guffie, age 76 of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 27, 2023 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Alice Clark officiating. Burial will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Sally was born July 22, 1946 in Littlefork, MN to Floyd and Ellamae Myhre and passed away March 21, 2023 in Ruston. When she was young, her family moved to northern California, and, in the early 1980s, she moved with her parents to Ruston in order to be near her sister Nancy Clark. Sally was a lively child and grew into a fun and independent young woman. The family well remembers how Nancy's husband Paul would tease Sally about zooming around in her sporty, red Mustang. She was an easy person to love, and, even through her disabilities, she made those around her feel special and loved. Sally was preceded in death by her parents; brother Gary; and brother-in-law Paul Clark.

Left to cherish Sally's memory are her beloved sister and caregiver Nancy Clark; nephews Tim Clark and wife Alice and Todd Clark and wife Penny; great-nephew Ryan Clark; great-niece Hannah and husband Daniel Wallace; daughter Shelly Hudgens; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Monday, March 27, 2023 at the funeral home.
