Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby A. Williams, age 89, of Hodge, LA will be held at  2:00 PM, Saturday,  October 19, 2019 at Hodge Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Cardin and Rev. Norris Curry officiating. Burial will follow in Gayla Traina Memorial Cemetery in Jonesboro, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Mrs. Williams was born February 6, 1930 in Arcadia, LA to Albert and Vera Holland. She died October 16, 2019 in Jonesboro, LA. She was a lifelong member of Hodge Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Williams; grandson, Charles Jason Holloway; son-in-law, Kenneth Louis Holloway; sisters: Lucille Culpepper and Avis Autry and brothers: Albert Louis Holland and Charles Henry Holland.

Ruby is survived by her daughters: Connie Holloway of Quitman, LA,  Sherri Smith and Bud of Jonesboro, LA and Vicki Shows and Harry of Quitman, LA; grandchildren: Alysia Dickerson and Casey of Quitman, LA, Clint Stewart and April of Gulf Breeze, FL, Rodney Stewart and Amy of Kingwood, TX, Chris Smith and Summer of Jonesboro, LA and Casey Smith and Carlie of Georgetown, LA; great-grandchildren: Caroline Smith of Jonesboro, LA, Kara and Andrew Dickerson of Quitman, LA, Alex Stewart of  Gulf Breeze, FL, Marlee Smith, Kynlee Smith, Eli Smith and Allie Smith all of Georgetown, LA; sisters: Cammie Johnson of Haughton, LA, Betty Jean McMillen of New Orleans, LA and Joyce Pate of Houston, TX.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Brown, Bruce Whitman, Jerry Hutchinson, Carey Semore, Jerry Thomas and Gerald Palmer
