Funeral services for Mr. Robert Neal Causey, age 66 of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Scott Jennings officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery under direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Neal was born to Charles Herman Causey and Barbara Louise Gibbs Causey on May 31, 1958 in Ruston, LA and passed away suddenly on Monday, March 17, 2025 in Ruston.  A veteran that had served in the U.S. Navy, he enjoyed the outdoors, birdwatching, and riding 4-wheelers with his son and grandchildren. Neal was preceded in death by his parents; two grandbabies, Ava Marie Causey and Baby Causey. He is survived by his son, Christopher Causey, and wife Cristy; two grandsons, Evan and Julian Causey; and two brothers, Jerry Causey and wife Janet and Eddie Causey.

The family would like to give a special thanks to his nurse, a loving friend and caregiver, Wendy Pesnell.
