Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Lee Reeveas, age 56 of Farmerville, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston, LA with Rev. Greg Tipton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mineral Springs Cemetery in Dubach, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.

Ricky was born August 31, 1966 to Rudolph and Margie Reeveas in Ruston, and he went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2022 at his home in Farmerville. He worked as a lineman for many years, most of which were with Highlines Construction. Ricky had a love for fishing and spending time with his family. He was known as a person that was always there to give a helping hand. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents; brother Bruce Reeveas; and sisters Robin Reeveas, Patricia Hebert and Reba Logue.

Ricky will be greatly missed by his wife Connie Reeveas; son Braxton Reeveas; step-daughters Ashley and husband Chris Dickens and Brittney and husband Brandon Brooks; step-son Blake Head and wife Madolyn; grandchildren Drake, Conner, Braden and Allie; sister Sarah and husband William Otwell; and a host of many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lance Billberry, Richard Otwell, Dalton Ford, Chase Simon, Josh Lee and Chance Canterberry. Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Duke.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to assist with the funeral expenses.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM, Monday, October 3, 2022 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
