Memorial services for Rachel Renee Clark, age 45 of Ruston, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Longstraw Baptist Church in Choudrant, LA with Rev. Larry Emory, Jamie Phillips and Sandy Allen officiating.

Rachel Renee Clark was born October 27, 1976 in Hobbs, NM to her parents Sue Peterson and Dale Clark and passed away on March 28, 2022 in Choudrant, LA.  She was raised in Longview, TX area and was eventually married there and had her three boys:  Austin Rabourn, Jared Rabourn and Mike Kelley.

Rachel enjoyed spending time with her three boys and her grandkids.  She also enjoyed family gatherings with her family and extended Texas family.  To Rachel being a mother always came first.  She felt her boys and grandkids were her greatest gifts and blessings.  She also enjoyed fishing, riding her motorcycle, crafting, helping others and spending time with her best friend, Lucy Reed and sister, Jamie Phillips.   Rachel was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. B.H. Peterson and Aline Peterson; grandfather, Johnnie Clark; aunt, Patsy Peterson; step-father, Billy King, and grandson, Skylar Rabourn; among many other great-grandparents, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

Rachel is survived by her parents; mother, Sue King of Choudrant, LA; Dale (Pris) Clark from Wasilla, AK; her grandma, Dessie Clark of Stillwater, OK; her boys:  Austin Rabourn, Jared Rabourn, and Mike Kelley all from East Texas; her grandkids:  Ellie Rabourn, Matthew Rabourn and Ember Rabourn all of Texas; her siblings:  Jamie Phillips of Ruston, LA, Ashley (Patrick) Robertson of Birmingham, AL and Ken Audirsch of Monroe, LA; nephews:  Brandon Audirsch of Byram, MS and Caleb Boyd of Ruston, LA; niece, Lexi Phillips of Ruston, LA.  Also, her chosen Texas family; Faron, Lucy, Dixie, Ryder Reed and Gavin Nugent.

On behalf of Rachel and the family we would like to give special thanks to the many caregivers Rachel had from Heart of Hospice; Dr. Sheila Mariano and staff, Dr. Byrnes and his staff, and MD Clinics.  Also, DJ and Sandy Allen, Rebecca Scroggins, and Paula Rose.  Thank you for the love and care shown during this difficult time.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Rabourn, Jared Rabourn, Mike Kelley, Caleb Boyd, Brandon Audirsch, Gavin Nugent, Ryder Reed, and Alex Pool.
