Funeral services for Prentiss Cortez Lee, age 90 of Ruston, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 16, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Paul Watts officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Prentiss was born April 5, 1928 in Ruston to the union of Nancy and John Edgar Lee and died November 13, 2018 in Ruston.  Prentiss was a WWII Air Force Veteran, a retired rural postal carrier and a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his first wife: Opal Gipson Lee; son: John David Lee; grandson: Bryan Scott Lee and second wife: Minnie Grafton Frazier.

Prentiss is survived by his son: Ricky Lane Lee of Ruston; step-daughter:  Chris Cox; grandchildren: Kenneth Wayne Lee, Amanda Marie Lee both of Ruston, Taylor Christian Lee of Baton Rouge, Jackson McCrory Lee and Anna Elizabeth Lee both of Lafayette; great grandchildren: Joshua Lee of Dubach, Alan Humble, Abigail Hatfield, Allison Lee all of Shreveport and Stacy Lacy of Texas; nephew: Matt Rudolph of Shreveport; great nephew: Jason Rudolph of Shreveport and numerous other family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Kerry Norris, Bob Garrett, Jason Rudolph, Josh Lee, Matt Rudolph and Richard Lee.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.  There will also be a visitation held from 1:00 PM until time of service, Friday, November 16, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.
