Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Hughes, age 60 of Emerson, AR will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 28, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Tracy Boyd officiating.  Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Simsboro under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Patricia was born November 12, 1957 to the union of Aline and Chester McDaniel and died September 26, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Derwood Hughes, parents and six siblings.

Patricia is survived by her daughter: Wendy Sepulvado and husband Terry of Emerson, AR; sons: Duayne Miles of Camden, AR and Thomas Carter and wife Hollin of Simsboro, LA; brother: Joe McDaniel and wife Shirley of Simsboro, LA; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Serving as pallbearers are Sam Hughes, John Day, Toby Hughes, Joseph McDaniel and David McDaniel.  Honorary Pallbearers are Harold Doss and Tyler Harrison.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to Rita Doss and the Ouachita County Hospice Care for the care that was given to Patricia.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until service time, Friday, September 28, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.
