Graveside services for Ociel Huerta, age 32 of Ruston, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston, Louisiana under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Cleto Perez officiating.

Ociel Huerta, beloved husband, father, son and brother, is survived by his wife, Alicia Huerta; son, Dorian Huerta; daughters, Eelaina and Ciela Huerta; mother, Beatriz Avendano Bautista Huerta; father, Jose Jorge Huerta; grandmother, Micaela Huerta Avendano; brother, Moasir Huerta Avendano; sister, Oyuki Huerta Avendano and numerous others.

Ociel Huerta was born in Mexico on December 5, 1988 and came to Louisiana when he was 17.  He was very ambitious, outgoing and took his love of cooking to open three restaurants in Ruston.  Ociel believed in working hard and loved his family.
