Funeral services for Norma Scoggins, age 91 of Ruston, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Sandra Lacourse officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00 AM.

Norma Jean Scoggins was born on October 1, 1929 in Mansfield, OH, to parents, Peter Schnerer and Mary Burger. Norma passed away on August 21, 2021 to go to her forever home in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Broadway; and grandson, Stevie Rice. Those that are left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jackie Chipmon and Karen Broadway; seven grandchildren and their spouses, thirteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Jeanean Wilson, Anita Barr and all of the CNAs that took care of Norma while she was at Ruston Nursing and Rehab. They would also like to thank Premier Hospice for their care given to Norma.
