Graveside services for Mr. Marshall Neal "Neil" Parker, age 68 of Downsville, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston, LA with Bro. Mark Parker and Angel Manfull officiating. Burial will be held under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Neil was born December 22, 1954 in Rayville, LA to Wanda Love Trim and Marshall Devon Parker and passed away October 3, 2023 in West Monroe, LA. He served our country in the United States Marine Corp. Neil was a painter by trade and painted both residential and commercial properties. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Neil is survived by his wife Julie Parker of Downsville, LA; two children: Earnest Parker and wife Sara of North New Milford, CT and Maria and husband Ken Belin of Monroe, LA; seven grandchildren: Shawn Parker, Dustin Bellmonte, Quinn Parker, Jack Robinson, Jill Robinson, Aleena Delima and Logan Delima; two great-grandchildren: Briella Parker and Levi Bellmonte; adopted grandchildren: Samantha Wilson, Gavin Freeman, Justin Douget, Madison Strozier and Jason Strozier; one brother Danny Parker and wife Donna; two sisters: Melissa and husband Buddy Fletcher and Stella and husband Bill Turnbow; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Parker, Logan Delima, Justin Douget, Clint Wilson, Sara Auterson and Angel Manfull.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-2:00 PM, Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.
