Funeral services for Minnie Ester Cripps, age 76 of Simsboro, LA, will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, LA with Reverend Steve Cripps and Michael Cripps officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery south of Simsboro, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Minnie was a "special gift of God" born March 7, 1946 to Willie Rowan and Evelyn Cripps. She was escorted by angels to her heavenly home November 5, 2022.

Minnie loved her large family and many friends. To know her was to love her!! Her sincere worship to her Lord and Savior was an inspiration to all that were blessed to experience it! She was a member of LifePoint Pentecostal Church of Ruston, LA.

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Rowan and Evelyn Cripps.

Left to cherish her memory are her three brothers: Willie Cripps (Virginia) of Jena, LA, Tim Cripps (DeeAnn) of Arcadia, LA and Dennis Cripps of Simsboro, LA; four sisters: Martha Wells (Buddy) of Simsboro, LA, Brenda Olds (David) of Simsboro, LA, Patty Keough (Mike) of Homer, LA and Pam Cripps of Alpine Nursing Home in Ruston, LA. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and a large host of friends.

Her family would like to thank Eternal Blessings and the many caregivers over the past years for their love and care of our angel.

Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews: Shane Wells, Jason Young, Keith Young, David Cripps, Nick Cripps, and Eric Cripps. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Bullock and Chris Bullock.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.
