Funeral services for Mary Morris Williams, age 66 of Sailes, LA, are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Owens Memorial Chapel with Bro. Shawn Beard and James Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Walnut Creek Cemetery in Simsboro, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Mrs. Mary Ann Morris Williams went to be with Jesus on Friday, March 7, 2025, surrounded by her family. Mary was born on July 23, 1958 in Arcadia, LA, to Harold and Dorothy Hughes Morris. She was raised in Simsboro, LA, and married Marty Ray Williams on August 24, 1974. Mary enjoyed gardening, taking care of her various animals, and spoiling her grandchildren. Known as "Mary," "Mom," or "Mammy," she loved with her whole heart and was greatly loved in return. Mary always made everyone feel special, loved, and part of her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Hughes Morris; father-and mother-in-law, Joseph and Bonnie Williams; sister, Johnnie Faye Morris Taylor; brothers, David and William Morris; nephew, Nick Morris and niece, Michelle Johnson.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of nearly 51 years, Marty Ray Williams and their children: Mason Williams and wife Amanda of Sailes, LA, Marti "Sissy" O'Rourke and husband Dennis of Martin, LA, James 'Pee Wee' Williams and wife Carrie of Ruston, LA, and Megan Kidd and husband Josh of Mt. Lebanon, LA.  She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Lexi Wheadon and husband Chris, Garrett Williams, Laila Kidd, Dustin O'Rourke, Hannah O'Rourke, Kaden Williams, Kenna Williams, Jordan Kidd, Kinsley Kidd, Katie Williamson, and Ally Williamson.  She is also survived by six sisters: Shirley McDaniel, Dot Lee, Linda Bass, Kay Godwin, Connie Brazzel and Lula Skidmore; one brother, Ronnie Morris; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as her former daughter-in-law, Melissa Carter and a host of friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dustin O'Rourke, Kaden Williams, Jordan Kidd, Blake Bazar, Chris Wheadon, and Alex Walton. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Williams and Shane Skinner.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, calls, visits, and food during this time.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
