Funeral services for Mary Jane Worsham Brazzel, age 82 of Dubach, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 1, 2023 at Ruston Church of Christ in Ruston, LA with Mr. Jim Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in Dubach under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mary was born September 25, 1940 in Springhill, LA to Mary Doris Middlebrooks and Harry Earl Worsham and passed away August 30, 2023 in Ruston. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Mary loved her flowers, especially her daylilies. She enjoyed feeding her hummingbirds and her cat Buster. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughters Jennifer Edwards and Kayleen Riske.

Mary is survived by her husband Henry Brazzel of Dubach, LA; four children: Charles "Jeff" Edwards and wife Brenda of The Woodlands, TX, Lori Edwards-Willette and husband Michael of Benhington, VT, Rodney Edwards of Hot Springs, AR and Amy and husband Stuart McGuire of Ruston, LA; two step-daughters: Debra Williamson of Winnsboro, LA and Beverly Rogers of Many, LA; nine grandchildren: J.W. Edwards and wife Gladys, Dani Edwards and fiancé Michael Rayborn, Jeffrey Edwards, Jr., Jacob Edwards, Clinton Harrison and wife Amanda, Valerie and husband Jamie Taylor, Houston Harrison and wife Tara, Bryce McGuire and Briley McGuire; 13 great-grandchildren: Veronica, Isaiah, Justus, Olympia, Killian, Jayden, Tom Blue, Lukas, Kristopher, Kasen, Kaleb, Waylon and Savannah; and a host of other family and many friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Clint Harrison, Jeffrey Edwards, Jr., J.W. Edwards, Houston Harrison, Bryce McGuire and Jamie Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Edwards, Jayden Edwards, Van Grafton, Billy Joe Youngblood, Roger Brazzel and Spooky Hockenjos.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, September 1, 2023 at the church.
