Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Lewis Kinnaird, age 92, of Ruston, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Rolly Walker officiating.  Burial will follow in Harmony Chapel Cemetery in Hico, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mrs. Kinnaird was born March 3, 1927 in Dubach, LA to Carl and Alberta Lewis.  She died in Shreveport, May 4, 2019.  Mrs. Kinnaird received her undergraduate and Master's degree from Louisiana Tech University.  She taught in the Lincoln Parish school system.  She loved to sew, cook, embroider and water aerobics.

She was preceded in death by:  husband, Aubrey Wayne Kinnaird; son, David Wayne Kinnaird; parents, Carl Lewis and Alberta Caldwell Lewis; grandchild, Jessica Alana Kinnaird.

Mrs. Kinnaird is survived by:  son, Carl "Lewis" Kinnaird and wife Amy of Shreveport;  grandchildren: Carrie Kinnaird Foster and husband Greg of Pinehurst, NC, William Daniel Kinnaird of Ruston, LA, Mak Kinnaird of Fayetteville, AR.; great-grandchildren:  Baylee Kinnaird and Bentlee Kinnaird

Pallbearers will be:  Rob Shadoin, Gary Hand, James Murphy, Jim Colvin, Russ Hornbeak and Greg Foster.
