Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Alma Gray, age 90 of Jonesboro, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Sweetwater Baptist Church in Quitman, LA with Rev. Stuart Toms and Rev. Wilton Wall officiating. Burial will follow in Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Alma was born on July 17, 1930 to Lemoin and Flora Cooper in Quitman, LA and died September 12, 2020 in Ruston, LA. She was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church in Quitman, LA which she dearly loved. Alma worked at the Paper Mill in Hodge for over 40 years and loved to travel with her husband in their motor home. Later she traveled to Alaska and Hawaii and also traveled on church trips. She enjoyed going to garage sales and auctions to search for treasures to share with her family and friends. Margaret loved working in her yard and beautiful flower garden.

Alma is survived by her two nephews: Todd Cooper and wife Melanie of Quitman, LA and Ronnie King and wife Cythnia of Ruston, LA; two nieces: Nicole and husband Randall Lancaster of Quitman, LA and Teresa and husband Randy Neff of Ruston, LA; her sister: Melba King of West Monroe, LA; sister in law: Jimmie Carolyn Cooper of Quitman, LA; numerous great nieces and nephews and other family members. Alma is proceeded in death by her husband of 54 years, Cecil "Buddy" Gray and a brother: Willis Cooper.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Gary Nunn, Roger Council, Dan Denton, Gary Hill, Gilbert Pickens and Mike Brooks. Honorary pallbearers are: Edward Ewing, Paul Gresham, Curtis Otwell, Forrest Peterson, Ken Jeane, Gary Brown, Barry Donner and Roger Heflin.
