Funeral services for Louise Kennimer, age 81 of Choudrant will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 30, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Monk officiating. Internment will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Louise was born on June 7, 1939 and passed away on October 28, 2020. She loved spending time in her yard and tending to her flowers. Louise loved taking care of people and was a caregiver for a number of years. She was a dedicated member of New Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed attending church functions. Louise loved her sweet dog, Max. She enjoyed being in her watermelon shack and spending time with her family and friends.

Louise is preceded in death by son: Todd Kennimer; granddaughter: Mindy Kennimer.

Louise is survived by sons: Dennis Kennimer of Choudrant, LA, Darren Kennimer and wife, Lisa of Choudrant, LA; sister: Cora Lee Jones of Choudrant, LA; grandson: Kane Kennimer and wife Amy of Dubach, LA; great grandson: Ethan Odom and substitute granddaughter: Jessica Courtney, who spent much time taking care of her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Don Pylant, Wesley Mobley, Stacey Jones, B.J. Courtney, Bruce Courtney and Daniel Farrar.

Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Woods.
