Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Herrington, age 88 of Choudrant, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Cecil Herrington officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Choudrant under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Louise was born February 14, 1930 in Farmerville, LA to the union of Thomas and Louvenia Kavanaugh and died August 22, 2018 in Monroe, LA. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Louise is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Cecil Herrington.

Louise is survived by her children: Burleigh Herrington of Choudrant, LA, Thomas Herrington of St. Louis, MO, Charles Herrington of Tampa, FL, Louise Frazier of Choudrant, LA, Cecil Herrington of Choudrant, LA, Mary Douglas of West Plains, MO, Sue Herrington of Springfield, MO, Rose Garza of Springfield, MO, George Herrington of West Monroe, LA, and Leonard Herrington of Springfield, MO; 21 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
