Funeral services for Johnnie Lorraine Harris, 92, of Choudrant, La. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 4, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church in Choudrant, La., with Rev. Dwayne Monk officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.

Lorraine Harris went to be with our Lord on November 1, 2019.  Born in Choudrant, La. on February 5, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John and Cilla Green.  Mrs. Harris married her husband of 58 1/2 years, Kenneth Harris on March 27, 1961 in Union Parish.

Mr. Harris preceded her in death along with her brother, Henry Madison Green (Opal), his two sons, Robert and Donald Green, step-children, Wilbur Harris, Maurice Harris, Bonnie Harris, grandson, Timmy Nichols and step-daughter, daughter-in-law, Linda Nichols and step-grandson, Andy Robson.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her sons, John Nichols of Ruston, La., Larry Nichols (Delma) of Ruston, La., Edmonds Nichols (Teresa) of Camden, Ar., step-children, Mike Harris (Bonnie) of West Monroe, Kenneth J. Harris (Terry) of Dubach, La., grandchildren,, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and great great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Carol Paredes, Justin Porche, Chris Roy, Braeden Roy, Shand Blackstock and Wayne Nichols.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with services starting at 11:00 a.m., Monday at New Hope Baptist Church.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Princeton Place of Ruston and to New Hope Baptist Church.
