Obituary

Funeral services for Linda Antley will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Alabama Presbyterian Church in Choudrant with Rev. Michael Frazier officiating.  Burial will follow in Sibley Cemetery in Choudrant under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Linda Faye Waldrop Antley was born August 1, 1938 in Junction City, AR to David and Faye McCloud and died February 10, 2019 at Arbor Lake Nursing Home in Farmerville, LA from a lengthy illness.  Linda was a talented artist. She did many beautiful oil paintings. She was a wig stylist at Raylees in Monroe LA and enjoyed styling her cancer patient's hair pieces. She was a sculptor and had her own business. She also had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in church. Linda was a devout Christian and loved her Savior.  She was preceded in death by two brothers: David McCloud and infant brother, Louis Lee McCloud.

Linda is survived by three daughters: Darolyn Smith of Long Beach, MS, Laura and husband Bart Cooper of Downsville, LA and Dawn and husband Mel Cox of Logansport, LA; two sons: Jody Waldrop and wife Cynthia of Natches, MS and Lance Waldrop and wife Dianne of Sedona, AZ; eight grandchildren: Jaimie and husband Heath Rowlan, Ray Cooper and wife Tiffany, Rachel and husband Nicholas Heisler , Colton Cobbs, Kristen Cox, Brittany Cox, Jeremy Waldrop, Sarah and Chad Fuqua; ten great-grandchildren and a sister, Virginia and husband Grafton Murphey of Bernice, LA

Serving as pallbearers will be Bart Cooper, Jody Waldrop, Toby Murphey, Riley Murphey, Don Hoolan and Jerry Watkins.

The family would like to thank the staff of Arbor Lake, Premier hospice and Reeves Memorial medical center.
