Funeral services for Lena Devonne Collins LeBlanc, age 77 of Ruston, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Neil Everett and Rev. Dana Thrash officiating.  Interment will follow in Simsboro City Cemetery in Simsboro under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

It is with great sadness that the family of Lena Devonne Collins LeBlanc announces her passing on September 29, 2018 following a lengthy illness.  She fought this battle with strength, dignity, and as she said "by the Grace of God".  She had no doubt that the Lord and the love of her family would see her through this difficult time.  Devonne was born on February 8, 1941 in Columbia, LA to Johnnie Preston and Lena Campbell Collins and was the first of seven children.  She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Colette A. Jackson; granddaughter: Carla Yvette Causey and brothers:  Frank Preston Collins, Grady "Buddy" Collins, and Johnnie Daniel Collins.

Devonne is survived by one son: Gilbert LeBlanc of Ruston, LA; four daughters:  Faye Ragsdale and husband Stephen of Hoquam, WA, Denise LeBlanc-Burgess and husband Mike of Dubach, LA, Jimette Wiltcher of Bossier City, LA,  Monica LeBlanc and Bubba Freeman of Ruston, LA;  one son-in-law: David Jackson of Calhoun, LA;  two sisters:  Sandra McMillon and husband Vernon of Hebert, LA, Brenda Atkins and husband Carl of Clay, LA and one brother: William "Butch" Collins and wife Rhonda of Ansley, LA.  She is also survived by sister-in-laws: Jeanette Collins McKinney of Welsh, LA, Linda McKenzie Collins of Simsboro, LA, and Shirley L. Collins of Haughton, LA, 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are B. J. Wiltcher, Dusty Wiltcher, Gavin Freeman, Stacey Theodos, Cody Briscoe, and Scott Collins.  Honorary Pallbearers are Devin Briscoe, John LeBlanc, Buddy Ragsdale, and Daniel LeBlanc.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and would be greatly appreciated to help with final expenses.
