Memorial services for Linda Kay Spillers, age 65 of Farmerville, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Longstraw Baptist Church in Choudrant, LA.

Kay passed away on November 14, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 29, 1958 at the England Air Force Base Hospital in Alexandria, LA.

The family was relocated to Phalsbourg Air Force Base in France for two years before moving to Lincoln, NE where Kay spent her childhood. Especially memorable were trips during Easter to visit family in Louisiana. In early adulthood, she returned there permanently where she started and raised her family.

Kay enjoyed annual trips on the Buffalo River with her family, motorcycle trips with John and annual Fourth of July trips to Nebraska for the "Bob Show" She was a loving wife, mother, "Nana", sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, John Spillers and her son Jeremy (Martha) McNabb of Laredo, TX and her daughters Kristi (Corey) McNabb and Rachel (Michael) Jones of Ruston, LA; her step children Nathan (Michelle) McNabb of Choudrant, LA and Jon Spillers of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren Caleb and Nick (fiancé Destiny Adkins) McNabb, Vivianne Dominquez;  Austin (Johnathon) Duncan; Coby and Kane Freeman; and Dalton (Savannah) Jones and Destiny (Jacob) Robbins; and two great grandchildren,  Cecilia and Bhodie McNabb.

She is also survived by two sisters, Sandra "Sam" (William) Rathe of Lincoln, NE and Patricia (Terry) Pinson of Red Oak, TX and three brothers Robert (Rebecca) Kunath and Gerald "George" Kunath of Lincoln, NE and William Kunath of Wymore, NE and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Dorn.
