Ida June Henderson, age 76 of Ruston, LA, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

June loved and cared for her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Jack Ricks and Durthel Belle Ricks; daughter, Rhonda Riley; sisters, Joyce McIntire, Janice Kyzer, Melisa Ricks; and grandson, Hayden Cassell.

June is survived by her four sons: Larry Davis and wife Kim, Lane Davis and wife Patti, Jeff Davis, and Shane Davis and wife Adrienne; brother, Wade Ricks; sisters: Judy Mills and Anna Taylor; 15 grandchildren: Brittney Turley and husband Brad, Bridget Davis, Katie Davis and husband Chase, Brett Turner and wife Carmen, Jeremy Davis and wife Rubia, Coty Davis, David Davis, Heather Gilliam and husband Eli, Dustin Davis and wife Ronna, Dakota Davis and wife Lizzy, Steven Davis, Nicholas Davis and wife Cam, Ashley Randolph and husband Carlos, Elizabeth Murrel and husband Blake, Ethan Davidson and wife Emily; and numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and friends, all of whom carry her memory in their hearts.

Graveside services for Ida June Henderson are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 2024, at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Ruston, LA with Rev. Brad Jones officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, Friday at Owens Memorial Chapel funeral home in Ruston, LA.
