John Thomas "Tom" James, age 62, of Choudrant, LA passed away on April 16, 2024.  He was born March 6, 1962 in Alexandria, LA to Edgar Keene James and Elizabeth Lee Lawerence James.

Tom was a chef who loved to cook.  He worked in places including Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.  Tom loved to go fishing and spending time with his dog, Bleu.  Tom is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sue James.

John is survived by his daughter, Hannah Trahan; two sisters: Maureen James of Alexandria, LA and Lydia and husband Glen Clary of Choudrant, LA; one brother, Michael James and wife Lisa of Lottie, LA and other family members and friends.
