Memorial services for John Nealy Goins, age 65 of Benton, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Lynn Hawkins officiating.

John was born October 7, 1953 to the union of Pat and Spencer Goins in Ruston and died November 2, 2018 in Bossier City.  John was a CPA who enjoyed motorcycle riding and loved to travel.  He is preceded in death by his mother: Patsy Ruth Post Goins Coggiola and husband Larry; father: James Spencer Goins, Sr. and wife Earline and two brothers: William "Billy" Post Goins and James "Jimmy" Spencer Goins, Jr.

John is survived by two sister-in-law's: Martha Goins and Ellyce Thomas; two aunts: Nancy Cotharn and Jane Grismer; nephew: Dr. William Post Goins, II and wife Trisha; nieces: Leslie Dean, Lindsey Sikorski and husband Steve, Laura Rushing, and Lacey Chreene and husband Andy; pet: Sox and numerous cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the Wounded Warrior Project at PO Box 758540 Topeka, KS 66875-8540.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of service, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.
