Graveside services for Mr. John Henry Daniel, age 91of Farmerville, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Henry Cemetery in Dubach, LA with Bro. Barry Joyner officiating. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

John Henry Daniel was born on September 10, 1935 in Wade, OK to Henry Allen Daniel and Alma Pearl Daniel and he passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 in Farmerville, LA.

Throughout his working years, John built a long and successful career in the heavy equipment industry. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 24 years and later spent 14 years with a Komatsu dealer, selling large equipment. John shared 68 devoted years of marriage with the love of his life, Betty Daniel. Their marriage was a beautiful testament to enduring love and commitment. He cherished Betty throughout their life together, and their years together were filled with love, treasured memories, and shared adventures. His career took him and Betty to many different places, but wherever life led them, they made a home together.

After years of moving for work, John and Betty eventually settled in Dubach, LA where family was close by. There, they made their home and enjoyed the comfort of being near people they loved. They enjoyed playing golf together, fishing, and spending time with one another.

Above all, John loved the Lord fiercely and his Christian faith was a guiding force throughout his life. He was a member of First Baptist Dubach, his final church home. His love for the Lord was central to his life, and his faith remained a source of strength and comfort.

John was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Betty Daniel; son, Paul Daniel; two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by his son, John Carl Daniel and wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Roxanne and Haley; great-grandchildren, Jason “JJ”, Aleah, and a precious baby girl; and a host of other family and friends.

John will be remembered for his enduring love for Bety, his devotion to family, his strong faith, and his dedication throughout his working years. Though he will be dearly missed, the memories he leaves behind and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His earthly journey has ended, but his faith assures us that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord he loved so dearly.
