John is survived by his wife, Sandra Allen, three sons:  Clint Allen and wife Taylor, Clayton Allen and Crisanna, all of Ruston and Chris Stinson and Lacey of Jacksonville, FL; two grandsons:  Colton and Caleb Allen of Ruston, LA; one sister:  Lisa and husband Corbett Best; one brother:  Evan Allen, all of Ruston, LA; his Uncle Max Otwell and Aunt Suzanne Atkins, also of Ruston; Aunt Peggy Barlow of West Monroe and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.  John was preceded in death by his parents:  John Wesley Allen and Aliene Allen.   Honorary pallbearers include:  Ricky Reeveas, Max Otwell, Evan Allen, Corbett Best, Zach Best, and Garett Best.

A visitation will be held for friends and family at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, June 7, 2021. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Owens Memorial Chapel with the Reverends Kendall Corkern and Rick Walters officiating.
