Ms. Jin Ouyang, 91, of Holland Landing, Ontario, passed on this life to be with her Creator and Savior God peacefully at home, Friday January 21, 2022.

Ms. Jin was born in Fuzhou, China on October 1, 1930, to a loving prominent Ouyang family. Jin was preceded in death by her husband of 35-year W. Xiaohang Guo; mother Ms. Rong Lu; and father Mr. Zhao Ouyang. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Yan Guo (Qian Luo); son Shaolong (Guiyin) Zhong and son Joseph (Annielynn) Guo; grandchildren Rosa Luo, Priscilla Guo, Joanna Guo, Nahui Zhong, Menghua Zhong, Zimeng Zhong; and 5 great grandchildren.

Ms. Jin graduated with honor in 1955 from the FuJian University of Agriculture with a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture. Since then she worked at South China University of Agriculture in Guangzhou for 40 years until she retired. Jin and her husband Mr. Guo visited Ruston, Louisiana in 1996, and both professed their faith in Savior Lord Jesus and received holy baptism into God's family. Jin spent her retirement time (21 years) being with daughter Michelle's family in Toronto, Canada, diligently helped to raise grandchild and to establish family and friend connections and growth. Jin loves the Lord and her family, she is recognized as a loving and diligent wife, honorable daughter, caring and wonderful mom and grandma, golden-medal mother-in-law, a truthful and kind mentor and friend, and she used her knowledges and skills in horticulture to bless many people.

Graveside service for family and friends will be held 11:00 Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W. California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270. Reverend Joseph Guo will be officiating.
