Graveside services for Mr. Jimmie David Morrison, age 75 of Choudrant, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday January 31, 2020 at Longstraw Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Whitman officiating under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. David passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 after a brief illness.

He was born January 14, 1945 to Harry "Red" Morrison and Emma Lee Pace Morrison of Choudrant, LA. David graduated from Choudrant High School in 1962 and worked in the oil and gas industry and real estate most of his life.  He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and working on his beloved farm.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bud Morrison.

David is survived by his children Melissa Morrison Toyos and husband Rolando of Brentwood, TN and Kelly Renee Pack and husband Andrew of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren: Allison Cable, Catherine Cable and John Preston Pack and his very dear friend Judy Holstead of Choudrant; sister-in-law, Skip Morrison of Shreveport, LA and niece, Jan Morrison Humble and husband Dale of Shreveport, LA

Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Murphy, Luke Polk, Andrew Pack, Ron Johnson, Allen Ledford and David Hammons and as honorary pallbearers Billy Murphy and John Norris.
