Funeral services for Jeff Tilley, age 48 of Simsboro, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston, LA.  Burial will follow in the Simsboro City Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Jeffrey Shawn Tilley was born September 16, 1973 and walked into the arms of Jesus on February 15, 2022.  Jeff grew up in Sarepta, LA.  He lived life to the fullest.  He loved the Dallas Cowboys, to tell jokes, play pranks, watch movies, hunt ghosts and exploring history.  Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Gary Tilley; mother, Pam Cave Antee; paternal grandparents Elan and Mattie Tilley; and maternal grandparents, Tommy and Eleene Cave.

Jeff is survived by his fiancé, Christina Clements; sister, Rachel Tilley; step-father, Troy Antee; step-mother, Amy Smelley; uncles: Tommy Tilley and Randy (Freida) Cave; niece, Ashlyn; nephew, Dakota and many other family and friends.  Jeff shared a special long-term friendship with friends Tiger Augustine and Darrell Smith.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Cave, Randy Cave, Jeremy Allen, Landon Stevens, Darrell Smith and Presley Morris.  Honorary pallbearers are Tiger Augustine, Chris Watson, Michael Breaux, Sandra Harvey and Dustin Clements.
