Graveside services for Mr. J C Knight of Choudrant, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 28, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA with Rev. Paul Watts officiating.  Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Mr. Knight grew up in a very large family and was the youngest of ten.  He owned a snack food distributorship called P C Sales Company out of West Monroe for over fifty years. He loved interacting with all the people involved in and around his business.  J C loved his children and grandchildren.  He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was known in the area for helping people in need of help, both personally and professionally.  He always said he was never going to retire and he got his wish, working right up until five weeks ago.  J C was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-seven years, Ann Knight; his parents Artie Cunningham and Charlie Thomas Knight and nine brothers and sisters.

J C is survived by two daughters: Cheryl Sullivan of Choudrant and Renee and husband Todd Connelly of Magnolia, AR; three grandchildren: Jake Connelly and wife Kayla of Cade Springs, AR, Katie and husband Gray McClatchy of Memphis, TN and Joshua Sullivan of Ruston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
