Funeral services for Jason Castle, age 46, of Choudrant, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Leroy Skipper and Rev. Jim Barmore officiating.  Burial will follow in Longstraw Cemetery in Choudrant under direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Jason was an pole setting operator for construction of highlines for almost 20 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, playing music and working.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Dorothy Saline Chipmon Castle.

Jason is survived by his wife of 26 years, Crystal Castle; daughter, Stormy Castle and son, Eric Castle all of Ruston, LA; two sisters: Dorothy and husband Ed Fuller of Visksburg, MS and Jessie and husband Rev. Jim Barmore of West Monroe, LA; two brothers: James Castle and wife Donna of Arcadia, LA and Jimmy Castle and wife Patsy of Homer, LA and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Castle, Michael Wagner, Keith Cockerham, Jesse Pylant, Larry McCormick, Michael Snipe, Jimmy Castle and Tony Ledford.
