Memorial services for Mr. James Anthony "Jimbo" Houston, age 61 of Ruston, LA will be held as a private event for family.

James Anthony "Jimbo" Houston was born to parents James and Jacqueline Houston on March 12, 1961. He served in the U.S. Army for over six years, including two tours to Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He returned to the States for several years and then lived in Ireland for twelve years. He returned to Ruston, LA where he worked locally before his passing. He loved the Lord, his family, friends, and everyone he worked with dearly. He was happiest when spending time with family and growing his relationship with the Lord.

Jimbo is preceded in death by his father James Houston and son Jim "Jimmy" Houston.

Jimbo is survived by his children Amanda Houston, Liberty Belle, Hunter, and Holden Houston; mother Jacqueline Houston; brother Andrew Houston; sisters Dianna Houston, Jackie Grayson, and Cassandra Vanlandingham; sister-in-law Beth Houston and brother-in-law Steve Grayson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

During his walk with God, he always leaned on the verse Proverbs 3:5-6 and Romans 12:2.
