Memorial Services for James "JC" Calvin Whitten McCoy, age 33 of Ruston, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday April 13, 2024 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA with Rev. Brad Jones officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM, Saturday until the time of service.

JC was born September 2, 1990, in Monroe, LA, to the union of David Mac "Beau" McCoy, Jr. and Johnnie Faye Whitten McCoy. He passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, following a lengthy illness.

JC's daughters were his joy in life. He enjoyed helping others. JC will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by grandparents: Guy and Glenda Whitten; and David Mack McCoy and Pirl Linton.

Those left to treasure his memory are his three daughters: Roslynn, Madelyn and Whitlynn McCoy of Choudrant, LA; mother, Johnnie McCoy of Ruston, LA; father David Mac "Beau" McCoy (Kathy) of Mississippi; sister Jessica Revels (Scott) of Ruston, LA; brother Mac McCoy (Vin) of Richardson, TX, mother of his children, Amberly Freeman of Choudrant, LA; niece, Scarlett Revels of Ruston, LA; nephew, Jackson Revels of Ruston, LA; grandmother, Mackie Linton, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
