Jack Wayne Owen passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the age of 71 after a courageous battle with cancer and Covid-19.

He was born on May 22, 1950 in Hico, LA and as a young adult served as a Marine. Jack retired from Enable Midstream in 2018 and resided in Haughton, LA for the past 20 years. He loved fishing on his boat at Toledo Bend and spending time with his multiple grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Owen; his daughters and their spouses, Jennifer Owen Baine and John Baine, Kellie Dotson and Jimmy Dotson, Jennifer Parks and Joshua Parks, Amanda Emery and Bill Emery, Victoria Bobbitt and Justin Bolt; brothers and their spouses, Don Owen and Barbara Owen, Jerry Owen and Pam Owen, Darin Owen; first wife Annette Owen; grandchildren, Dacie Dean, Jack Dean, Addison Dean, Garrett Dotson, Kaylee Dotson, Ryan Scott, Layla Parks, Tyler Parks, Za'Vier Murphy, Zelia Murphy, Zöe Murphy, Coraline Emery; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Dorothy Marie Owen.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation with the family which will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Hico Baptist Church, 653 LA- 152 Dubach, LA 71235.  A memorial service will follow with Rev.
