Grave side services for Mr. Ivan Stewart, age 67 of Dubach, La will held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Mineral Springs Cemetery with Rev. Greg Tipton officiating. Services are under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Ivan was born December 10, 1952 to Albert and Dorothy Stewart in Ruston, LA.  He was a well sought-after carpenter and was very meticulous with his work. Ivan could build anything! He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. Ivan loved to fish and even made his own white perch jigs; he had a magic touch and could catch fish when nobody else could. Ivan will be dearly missed.

Ivan was preceded in death by his parents and brother Curtis Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Stewart; two sons: Bryan Stewart of Vienna, LA and Ray Stewart and wife Christy of Dubach, LA; two grandchildren: Andrew Stewart and Madison Stewart; two brothers, Butch Stewart of Ruston, LA and Terry Stewart of Homer, LA; two sisters, Paula and husband Sonny Cupp and Laura and husband Ricky Barmore all of Dubach, LA.
