Funeral services for Issac Thomas Brasseal, age 90, of Haughton, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 26, 2019 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Bro. Ben Brewster and  Bro. Jim Davis  officiating.  Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery of Ruston, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mr. Brasseal drove a truck for the petroleum industry.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was also a veteran in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Edwards Brasseal and son-in-law Bill Taylor.

Mr. Brasseal is survived by his daughter, Barbara Taylor of Haughton, LA and son, Buddy Brasseal and wife Wendy of Ruston; grandchildren:  Miki Taylor Wallingsford and husband James, Leslie Brasseal, Josh Brasseal and wife Kelli, Margo "Sis" Dodds and husband Joey, and Steve Taylor; great-grandchildren: Layne Wallingsford, Elisabeth Dowling, River Dowling and wife Hannah, Kali Hilton and husband Andrew, Georgia Thormer and husband Michael, Dakota Taylor and Dylan Taylor; sister, Ruth Suddith and husband Ed of McComb, MS and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Reed Birdsong, Tom Edwards, Chris Stanley, Steven Stanley, John Gokosovil and Paul Brasseal. Honorary pallbearers are David Birdsong and Robert Edwards.

Visitation will be from 12.00 noon until service time Monday at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.
