Graveside services for Isie Simms will be held at 2:00 P.M, December 10, 2020 at Epps Cemetery with Rev. Steve Hughes officiating.

Isie was born on February 22, 1924 in Jones, Louisiana and passed away on December 8, 2020 in Ruston, Louisiana. Isie and her husband, Purvis, resided in Epps, Louisiana. For many years she was an employee of the New Store in Epps. She was always a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

Isie is preceded in death by husband: Purvis Wellington Simms.

Isie is survived by son: Kenneth Wayne Simms and wife Lillian of Mound, LA; daughter: Jo Ann Simms and husband Joe Gilmore of Ruston, LA; grandchildren: Robert Simms and wife Beth of Vicksburg, MS, Cheryl and husband Bob Dexter of Tupelo, MS, Jake Gilmore and wife Callie of Ruston, LA, Jessica and husband Larance Mobley of Ruston, LA; ten great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

We, the family of Dee, sincerely express our deep and heart felt appreciation to those who lovingly cared for Dee. Professional Hospice was an immense help, especially Allison, Angela and Heather, at RNRB, Kay Lowe loved her "Granny" and so did Sierra, Sissy and many other caring staff. For many years, Dee looked forward a lot to her weekly appointment with Becky who kept her hair "looking good". May the Lord bless each of you, as you are truly blessings to many.
