Funeral services for Mr. Henry Paul Morris, age 80 of Ruston, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Shane Morris officiating.  Burial will follow in Choudrant Memorial Cemetery in Choudrant under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Henry was a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and loved spending time with family.  He enjoyed music, dancing, playing poker and dominoes, eating catfish, and watching westerns on TV.  He is preceded in death by his parents: Martha and Robert Morris and 7 brothers: Oswald Morris, Robert Morris, Billy Morris, Arnett Morris, Sam Morris, Jim Morris, and Johnny Morris.

Henry is survived by 7 children: Barbara and husband Rick Young of Dubach, Gail Morris of Ruston, Paul Morris of Ruston, Kenny Morris of Ruston, Teresa Morris of Ruston, Mary Schapatone of Ruston, Carolyn and husband Danny Lonidier of Ruston; brother: Harold Morris of Denham Springs; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Morris, Branson Morris, Jerry Pye, Bradley Pye, Joshua Pye and David Sibley.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, August 3, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston.
