Funeral services for Hellen Marie Jimmerson, age 89, of Ruston, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Rev. Greg Tipton officiating.  Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Ruston under direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.

Hellen worked at Hart Associates Production Line and Russlo building car wiring harnesses.  She enjoyed raising her family and grandchildren and loved working in her yard and planting flowers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robison Martin and Arvie Ledelle Price Martin; daughters: Donna Marie Jimmerson, Robin Terry Jimmerson, Rose Marie Jimmerson Smith and Sherry Jimmerson Haynes; sisters: Alverne Richardson and Mary Beth Gallman and grandson, Richard Joseph Jimmerson.

Hellen is survived by her two sons: Robert David Jimmerson (Vicky) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Bobby Joe Jimmerson of Ruston; two daughters: Faith Deason (Richard) of Wellington, Kansas and Dawn Foster (Sid) of Ruston; twelve grandchildren: David Haynes, Tamara Hennis, Dustin Jimmerson, Michele Clontz, Jennifer Marsh, Matthew Deason, Jessie Deason, Brandy Roane, Kaci Raspbury, Dusty Abel, Ryan Abel and Casey Smith, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Abel, Ryan Abel, Joshua Roane, David Haynes, Stephen Roane and Richard Deason

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, August 23, 2019 at Owens Memorial Chapel.
