Graveside services for Harold Huey Roberts will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Reggie Bridges officiating under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.

Harold was born February 23, 1928 in Merryville and died November 27, 2018 at Ruston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 90. He spent most of his life in Ruston.  Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a graduate of Louisiana Tech, and a retiree of Willamette Industries.  He loved to play golf and go walking.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Velma Lorraine Roberts; mother, Winifred Nellie Roberts Brown; father, Charles Crump Roberts and step-father, Veldon Brown.  He is survived by his brother: Larry Roberts, Sr. of York, S.C.; daughters: Susan Lester (Mark) of Dubach, Roxanne Mulhearn (Fred) of Denham Springs and Janine Lewis (Richard) of Ruston; sons: Michael Roberts of Ruston and Keith Roberts (Stacey) of Katy, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews who loved him and called him "Uncle Huey" or just "H.H."

The family sends special thanks to caregivers: Ms. Lela, Muffin, and the nurses with Premier Hospice, the Terrace, and Ruston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of service, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston.
