Nita is survived by her 3 children: two sons, Rocky Cash (Sharon) of Downsville, andTony Cash (Julie) of Simsboro, and daughter Lisa Holtzclaw (John Malcolm) of Choudrant; eight grandchildren:  Michael and Brandon Holtzclaw of Choudrant, Jacob (Chelsea) , Casey, Amber, Catey, Beau, and Levi Cash, all of Simsboro; four great-grands:  Neilie, AnnaBelle, Sawyer, and London Cash, all of Simsboro.  She is also survived by her sister, Beverly Peterson of Chesnee, SC and her brother, Lucian Hicks of Oak View, CA; sisters in laws:  Brenda Elder of Chesnee, SC and Cheryl Archambault of New Jersey; and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband: M Neil Cash, her parents:  Guy and Julia Elder of SC; three brothers:  Jerry, Larry and Barry Elder of SC; and her brother in law Max Peterson of SC.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Greg Morrow officiating under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston.  Mrs. Nita requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 1127 Mondy Road, Ruston, LA  71270.
