Red was born October 18,1954 in Ruston, LA to JW and Leona Key and passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 30, 2026 after a hard fought battle of 297 days.
Red was a man who loved Jesus and lived his life with a deep love for his family. He was especially proud of his grandsons and cherished every moment he was able to spend with them. His family was at the center of his heart, and the love he gave them will continue to live on.
For 34 years, Gregory dedicated himself to his work at Davidson Transport. His years of commitment were a reflection of his strong work ethic, dependability, and dedication.
Above all, Red will be remembered for his love for Jesus and for the way he loved his family. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, devotion, hard work, and unconditional love. Though his absence leaves an ache that words cannot express, his family can find comfort knowing that the love he gave so freely will remain with them always.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his wife, Vicky, their daughter Holly, his family, his grandsons, and all who were blessed to know and love him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his in laws, Dan and Helen Green and Bennie and Nan Skains; brother in law Jim O’Dell; sister in law Deborah Key; and nephews, John Thomas Key and Chris Hutto.
